You will be met by Alex for dinner at one of the local restaurants and the programme for the trip will be discussed.
After an breakfast we will head out of Cape Town hugging the coast road . A chance to get a good feel on the bike as we head north to Lamberts Bay for the overnight stop.
Heading north the next morning we are heading for the frontier town of Springbok which sits just south of the Namibian border.
An easy start to today as we head East towards the Kalahari and stop for two nights at Augrabies Falls National Park.
Spend the day chilling by the Falls or take a walk around this very impressive National Park. Night time Game drives are very popular at this park as are the star gazing sessions. A night sky that you will remember forever.
You are going to need a hearty breakfast today as its going to be quite a long one. Today we head South down across the Karoo (Desert). With a beauty all of its own it can get hot here. A real contrast to the West Coast route we started on. Now we are exploring!!
A shorter day as we continue to travel South to the historic town of Matjiesfontein. Famous for its hotel “The Lord Milner” and its quaint Railway station. Its like stepping back in time.
Setting off after breakfast we will be heading for the town of Ceres. A beautiful town set besides the Cederberg Mountains. As well as a number of national team Rugby players, Ceres can also boast to have had a very famous resident by the name of Dr Christiaan Barnard.
A short day today but with lots of fantastic roads and passes to be ridden. We will be making our way back to Cape Town where as a complete contrast we will be heading into the “Mother City” centre and staying at the world famous V and A Waterfront for our final night. This place buzzes with excitement all year round. Our final dinner together will be at one of the many delightful restaurants in the district.
Take all the time you need to explore the Waterfront as our hotel check out time is only 12 noon. Your cases will have been delivered to this hotel the previous day so this is a very relaxed day. We will either transfer you back to the airport for your return flight home or you can continue your stay in Cape Town and the surrounding area (at your own cost of course)
